The California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and its Division of Apprenticeship Standards (DAS) are pleased to announce the third round of Apprenticeship Innovation Funding (AIF). This funding makes $52 million available for FY 2024 – 2025 to support new or existing apprenticeship program sponsors associated with the Interagency Advisory Committee on Apprenticeships (IACA). These sectors include healthcare, transportation, education, advanced manufacturing, information technology, and every sector outside the building and fire trades. In this session, DAS will provide a quick overview of the AIF structure and the process to submit an application.
